RugbyPA teamed up with Philadelphia Women's Rugby to run FREE Rookie Rugby Clinics with Philly Play this week. The initiative kicked off yesterday in the heart of West Philadelphia with over 40 local boys and girls. Philly Play is a program brought to Philadelphia by City Council to help promote play to young children and provide access to healthy, active play activities to families across the City.

Squad members of Philadelphia Women's Rugby Club & RugbyPA ran the first session, assisted by some Schuylkill River Exiles Mens players. RugbyPA are delighted to have prominent members of the rugby community engaged with youth rugby and would like to thank Philly Play and Katie Hallinan, president of Philadelphia Women's Rugby Club for spearheading the initiative.
