The Pennsylvania rugby community was hit with difficult news this past weekend, as Thomas A. Barr had passed away on Saturday. As a founding member and Corporate Secretary of the Rugby PA Board of Directors, Tom played a pivotal role over the last 8 years in helping steer the organization. As a former referee, Tom assisted with referee assignments and oversaw the disciplinary review process. As an important member of the Pittsburgh rugby family, Tom’s legacy will remain strong for years to come.

A visitation for Tom's family and friends will be held at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, Walnut Street, Shadyside, on Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, with a brief service at 7:30 pm.  Condolences may be left at www.mccabebrothers.com.
