Return To Play Guidelines 

The Rugby PA Board of Directors has approved the Return to Play guidelines, outlining the steps all clubs, coaches, and players need to take to safely return to the pitch. This document is a culmination of resources provided by USA Rugby, World Rugby, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), PIAA, and the Pennsylvania Governor's office. It is important to remember that this document is not official medical advice, and that all members should look to local health officials when determining a return to play. 

All Rugby PA Members should review the document, to ensure everyone has taken the appropriate steps.

Fall Registration

With Rugby PA joining the newly formed USA Youth & High School Rugby organization, there will be a shift in how members register. The new organization has partnered with USA Rugby and Sportlomo to offer registration to all its clubs and players. What this means for those in Rugby PA, is that you will now register directly with USA Rugby.

This streamlined process will mean that players will automatically be registered with the national governing bodies, and will appear on the official rosters. Rugby PA will still be operating on a seasonal registration system, where all clubs and players will have to register for the season they wish to participate in (Fall, Spring). But with this new registration, players who play in the fall will no longer have to pay for their USA Rugby membership again in the spring. The $25 will automatically be deducted from the Spring Registration total. The cost for the fall season will be $30 for Youth and $50 for High School Players

While this new system does look to simplify the registration process, it is still being adjusted. Sportslomo has been working with the governing bodies to ensure that all needs are meet. There may be a learn curve for this during the fall registration, but should be streamlined for a Spring Season.
