On Saturday, November 24, 2018, the PA All-State High School Boys Team traveled to Randall’s Island to compete in the High School Boys Premier Division of the New York Sevens Tournament.  In the first match of pool play, PA fell to Tsunami CDN Misfits II, 17-34. Scoring tries for PA were Dalton Musselman (2) and Chris Cleland (1).  Musselman kicked one conversion.  PA also fell short in the second match of pool play, losing to CODP, 14-24.  Tries for PA were scored by Musselman (1) and Michael Beamsderfer (1).  Musselman connected on two conversions.  In the final match of pool play, PA defeated Equipe Quebec, 26-19.  Try scorers for PA were Musselman (2), Scott Stratton (1) and Gideon Gagnier (1).  Musselman kicked three conversions.  Moving into the Cup Semi-Finals, PA came out on top over Upright Rugby Rogues 24-12 to advance to the Cup Final.  In the match against the Rogues, Musselman scored two tries, and Stratton and Sam Willis each added a try.  Musselman kicked two conversions.  Although PA fell to Tsunami CDN Misfits I in the Cup Final, 0-27, the PA boys brought home the runner-up Cup in the High School Boys Premier Division.  Great job, PA boys and coaches.
